Everything for your lectures, in one notebook

A class for every course and a page for every lecture. Write, paste, photograph and record, let the assistant turn it into notes you can actually revise from, learn each topic step by step, and keep every homework deadline and exam in one calendar.

Lecture slides to study notes

Upload a lecture's slides as a PDF and get structured notes back, slide by slide. Numbers are copied from your slides or worked out by code, never guessed.

How it works

Highlight anything, then ask

Drag over a passage and get a summary, an explanation or a check of your notes, written onto the page next to it.

AI notes for students

Teach me: lessons from your lectures

Pick the lectures and how long you have, from 5 to 30 minutes. Each topic is explained from the start and checked with a question; get one wrong and it's explained another way. At the end you see exactly what to review.

Practice exams from your own notes

Pick the lectures, a level and how many questions. Take it against the clock, then see your score by lecture and exactly what to work on.

  • Notes organised by classEvery course gets a class, every lecture a page. Type, paste, draw or add photos anywhere on it.
  • Photos of the board to textPhotograph the whiteboard or your handwriting and get typed notes you can search. More

Questions

Is UniNote free?
Yes. Classes, lectures, photos, drawing, the calendar, sync and export are free forever. The AI features (transcribing photos, summaries and explanations, notes from slides, Teach me lessons, practice exams, speech to text) need Monthly at €2.99 or Lifetime at €29.99. Every new account can try them all, except Exam prep, free for 7 days: no card, and it simply ends.
How does Notes from slides work?
Upload a lecture's slides as a PDF. UniNote reads every slide, writes study notes in order, and works out any calculations with code instead of letting the AI guess numbers. Where a slide and the calculation disagree, the notes say so.
How do practice exams work?
Pick the lectures, Easy, Normal or Hard, and up to 50 questions. Multiple choice is marked the moment you hand in; short answers are marked point by point. You get your score by lecture and what to revise.
How does Teach me work?
Pick the lectures and a length: Quick (about 5 minutes), Standard (15) or Deep (30). The lesson is written from your notes only and goes topic by topic, with a question after each one. Get it wrong and you get a second, simpler explanation and another question. At the end you explain the main idea in your own words and see which sections to review, ready for another lesson or a practice exam.
Can I bring my notes from another app?
Yes. Import notes reads a Notion export, Word and Google Docs files, an Obsidian vault or any Markdown or text files, and PDFs from GoodNotes or Notability (each page as a picture). Folders become classes and pages become lectures; you check everything before it's saved. It's free and happens on your device.
Does it write in my language?
Yes. By default the AI writes in the language of your slides or notes, or you can choose one in Settings: English, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Polski, Nederlands or Português. The app's own buttons are in English.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. UniNote runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops, and your notes sync between them. On a phone, add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Who can see my notes?
Only you, unless you share them. When you use an AI feature, only what it needs is sent to the AI provider: the highlight or page you use it on, or the lectures you pick for a lesson or a practice exam (Revise also reads the start of your lectures in that class). Never your name or email. Privacy lists exactly what goes where.
Can I cancel?
Monthly cancels any time, and you keep it until the end of the month you paid for. Your notes stay free either way.

Ready for your next lecture?

Free to start. Your notes stay yours.
